After I place my order online, how long does it
take for me to get my card?
If this is your first time ordering from
PhoneCards.com, a representative will be contacting within 5 minutes upto 12
hours to verify your order. He will then process your order and your pin
released to you via email. Repeat customers, if you use the same email
address your pin in released instantly.
I've never used a card with a
connection fee before. How does that work?
Each time you use the card and your party answers, you will be charged a connection fee
which will be deducted from the available minutes. The calling card assumes what you
will make one call, based on that one call the card gives you the number of minutes
available for that call. ALL low rate phone cards have a connect fee, but even so,
the cost savings are phenomenal!
What if I make a call and no one
answers? Will I have to pay the connection fee?
As long as the call isn't answered, then you don't pay the
connection fee. If you dial a wrong number, or the call is answered by an answering
machine or voice mail, then you will be charged for the connection fee.
Will I get the rate per minute rate on
every call I make?
The rate that's stated on the cards is
available only if you use the card one time and incur only one connection fee. In reality,
this usually doesn't happen. The more times you use the card, the more connection
fees and taxes you'll incur, which will raise your actual cent per minute rate. These are still MUCH more cheaper than you've ever
DREAMED of spending with AT&T, MCI, SPRINT, etc.
Is the rate the same 24 hours a day?
You bet! Unlike some cards that penalize you for calling at
certain times, the cards that we sell are the same all day, every day!
Am I going to be charged anything
on my regular phone bill?
No, these cards work totally separate from your regular phone bill.
Remember, you are dialing an 800# with these cards to make a long distance call, so it has
nothing to do with the long distance service that you currently have with your home or
business phone.
OK, can I use this card for in-state
long distance calls?
Sure--just dial the 800#--The rate is the same whether you're calling in-state or out
of state.
What about busy signals or "busy
circuits"?
Like all phone cards, it's possible to encounter busy circuits during peak
periods. In our personal experience though, when this happens, you can just hit
"redial" on your phone a couple of times and get right in. We've never had
a problem getting in--even during peak times, we've just had to press the "*(star)" button two times.
Can I make international calls?
Yes, you can call nearly 200 countries with all calling cards,
but the rates are higher and do vary by country.
How do I know how many minutes are left
on the card?
Each time you make a call, the computer will tell you how much time is left on the
card.
Is there a customer service number I can
call?
Yes, there is an 800# you can call that connects you with the long distance
company's customer service department.
Are there additional charges from a
payphone?
Yes, as with ALL prepaid phone cards numbers, you are subject to a possible surcharge
when you use these cards from a payphone. It is typically about 50 cents and is
deducted from your available minutes on the card.
How are calls billed?
Most calls are billed in 1 minute increments with international countries
up to 3 minute minimums per call.
Can I order these cards with
confidence?
You bet you can! If you have a problem that can't be resolved by the
telecom company's customer service, just contact us within 2 days.
